Last weekend I ventured south of the border to catch up with my friend, Dave. I’d been to Melbourne once before but it was about 11 years ago and I daresay one or two things have changed since then.

I’m sure I pushed my friendship with the poor guy to the nth degree by dragging him from one Melbourne tourist cliché to another while armed with one of the most useful apps I’ve ever downloaded, my new best friend the TrueLocal iPhone app

Finding the cafes, bars and other things I was after (and Dave was forced to endure) was simple, quick and accurate. It was when the TrueLocal iPhone app map function got us to a venue suggested by my local buddy called Dizzy’s Jazz Club that I went from just liking my new best friend to falling in love. 

The new TrueLocal app and I have been together now for a week and I couldn’t be happier. While most women are protective of their lovers, I would be glad to share mine around.
